Maximilian Secures DP Tour Card for 2026

Max has achieved a significant milestone in his career, securing his DP Tour card for the 2026 season. This accomplishment is a testament to Maxi`s hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport. The European Tour is the second-largest professional golf tour globally and takes place in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia and Maxi`s success will see him competing against the best golfers on the continent.

Two runner-up finishes in China!

D+D REAL Czech Challenge at Royal Beroun Golf Club

Runner-up in Beroun! At the D+D REAL Czech Challenge, held from July 10–13, 2025, Max delivered another outstanding performance to secure 2nd place – highlighted by a phenomenal nine under par final round. This result puts him at the top of the Road to Mallorca 2025 rankings – another key step toward the European Tour!

Max entered the final round with a one-shot advantage, posted a five under par round of 64 to move to 21 under and finish two ahead of Italien Filippe Celli.

Gösser Open 2024, GC Erzherzog Johann i. Maria Lankowitz

The big winner of the 2024 Gösser Open is Maximilian Steinlechner! The 24-year-old Tyrolean claimed victory at the €40,000 Alps Tour event held at Golfclub Erzherzog Johann in Maria Lankowitz, defeating Spain’s Asier Aguirre Izcue in a playoff on the first extra hole and marking his first victory as a professional in a tournament played over three rounds.
